Metal Processing Facility 1 Treatment of Wastewater Test
Integrated Engineers, Inc. conducted the below treatability test for the treatment of wastewater of a Metal Processing facility that uses soluble machine coolants in their machining process; below are the results.
Untreated Parameters:
- pH = 7.0
- Conductivity = 4,960 microSiemens (uS)
The treatment required no pH adjustment as it was already at 7.0. The best product was treated with 1.1 grams of Floccin™ HP in a 100 ml sample and required a lot of hard mixing (over 5 minutes). The dosage equates to a treatment of 95 lbs/1,000 gallons.
