There were some process and mechanical limitations of our DAF system (solids carry over and unreliable performance) and we were looking at an annual surcharge in excess of $1.2M.
We invited IE to evaluate our pretreatment wastewater system and they resolved several mechanical issues of our DAF (air saturation system, switched from using 5 chemicals to using carbon dioxide and Floccin™ 1105, and overall system operations).
Many other companies have claimed to be able to reduce our operating costs, but no Company has been able to reduce the overall cost/1,000 gallons treated like Integrated Engineers Floccin™ products.
