Wastewater Treatment Process
The Process of Wastewater Treatment

(Each box is a link to relevant information)
The wastewater treatment process follows pretty much the same pattern in all wastewater treatment processes. Really, at its core, wastewater treatment is glorified water filtering with added chemical and biological processes. Dirty water in, clean water out, is the goal. That clean water can be an essential part of wastewater recycling.
The wastewater treatment process focuses on reaching that goal, hopefully as fast and efficiently as possible. Unfortunately that isn't always the case.
In the flowchart above you see the wastewater treatment process laid out in simple steps. Each of the boxes is also a link to more about the step in the wastewater treatment process and wastewater treatment equipment optimized for each step.
You start with pH adjust if needed. Determining whether or not you will benefit from pH adjustment is of course a science and what Integrated Engineers Inc. excels at, optimizing the process of wastewater treatment in all aspects at all points.
Once pH adjust is achieved for optimal wastewater treatment results, wastewater chemicals are added to facilitate liquid solid separation, additional biological wastewater treatment is undertaken if needed followed by sludge dewatering. Then you are left with reusable water and hopefully a dry, light, cheap to dispose sludge cake or a usable raw material.
