Integrated's Stainless Steel Sand Separator
Operation:
The IE Sand Separator passes influent water over a series of inclined plates, which provide a settling surface for entrained solids such as sand. The solids settle to the bottom of the separation chamber, where they are picked up by the rotary screw conveyor and transported to the solids discharge port. Effluent water is discharged through a separate port in the side of the separation chamber.
