Rotary Screen
Sludge Dewatering Rotary Screen
What is a Rotary Screen?
You probably already know this or you wouldn't be on this page. A rotary screen is a mounted drum made out of screen wherein one places sludge from their wastewater treatment stream and then spins the drum to dewater the sludge. Thus the name rotary screen, rather than just a screen.
Use of a rotary screen typically comes before further sludge dewatering using the likes of a filter press if necessary.
The screen size determines how fine the screening is resulting in a potentially cleaner waste water after screening, but increasing the time the sludge needs to be in the rotary screen, as well as the rpm of the rotary screen.
Our internally fed screens are ideal for the removal of your industrial wastewater solids and contaminants.
