Dewatering Presses Information
What you probably already know about Dewatering Presses...
Physically pressing the water out of sludge can be done with dewatering presses.
Dewatering presses are a pretty straight forward affair, simply pressing the sludge, typically between plates, and squeezing out the water. The goal is to leave behind a dewatered sludge with as low a water content as possible.
What you may not know about Dewatering Presses...
Not all dewatering presses are created equal. As mentioned, you want a lighter drier dewatered sludge. If you leave much water in your dewatered sludge you are increasing the weight of the sludge, and possibly making it necessary to perform sludge drying.
You need top quality dewatering presses to get the job done profitably, but more importantly you also need a finely tuned wastewater treatment system that has every aspect studied and optimized to eliminate any weak links. Your wastewater treatment system is only as good as its weakest link.
Integrated Engineers can help you with your selection from the many dewatering presses available to you.
