Maximum Orbital Flow Oxygenators
The Wastewater Oxygenator Aerator shown is a submersible, vertically mounted unit that injects and mixes the oxygen with the wastewater.
The mixing is accomplished using a 15 HP, 1800 RPM, electric motor and rotor that directs flow radial around the aerator. The unit is suspended using floats attached by adjustable length chains. The depth of the aerator can be adjusted to meet the depth of the aeration pond.
The aerator pumps water using a special impeller. The top side of the impeller is specially designed to diffuse the oxygen into micro bubbles that are then mixed with the water flow, created by the bottom impeller.
Fine oxygen bubbles and diffusion into the water is key for optimal oxygen transfer and reduction of BOD. Power for the motor is provided using SEOOW cord from a water tight connection box. Oxygen flow is controlled using a manual or automated Oxygen Flow Controller for a complete aeration package.
