Floccin Bags (For use in basins and ponds)

The Process
"Floccin Bags"
can be implemented in your waste stream, ditch channel, sediment basin or pond
by attaching the Floccin Bag to a string/rope and staked into the ground.
Pond and sediment basin applications can also be attached in multiples on a
string/rope that spans the width of a basin or pond. The "Floccin
Bag" application insures proper dosing as the Floccin is dissipated
according to turbidity and water flow, allowing for consistent dosing, relieving
the contractor of multiple applications, therefore reducing time/labor costs.
Floccin Bags are a great tool for reducing the turbidity, hydrocarbons and
heavy metals from your wastewater.
"Floccin Bags" or "Snakes" can also be used in conjunction with typical Sediment Retention Devices such as wattles, silt fence, ditch checks and hay bales by attaching the Floccin Bags or Snakes via a "zip tie" to the sediment retention device (SRD). Replacement bags or snakes can then be attached over and over to the SRD when the flocculant has been dissipated out, therefore increasing the effectiveness of the SRD in controlling turbidity, heavy metal and hydrocarbon reduction.
"Floccin Snakes" can be made by the contractor using 3" corregated drain pipe sleeve material cut to the desired length, "tootsie roll" at one end of the material and add desired amount of Floccin, "tootsie roll" the other end of material and zip tie at both ends of the "snake" to the SRD. Floccin Snakes can also be tied singally or in multiples to string/rope for sediment basin, pond applications and ditch channels. This application allows more surface area for these applications rather than the Floccin Bags.
The Product
"Floccin Bags" are availible in 8-4 lb. bags per case and 36 cases per pallet. Each 4 lb. bag typically treats 1000 gallons.
